In Tuesday’s election, Senator Sawrey secured an overwhelming 58.9% of the vote (70,427 votes), surpassing his opponents—Democratic candidate Felicia Baxter, who garnered 37.6% (44,999 votes), and Libertarian Christopher Session, who earned 3.5% (4,295 votes). This decisive win reflects the trust and confidence voters have in Benton’s leadership.
